Rappers Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are putting their differences aside to reunite and belatedly mark their 20th anniversary at the Rock the Bells festival series this summer.

The Tha Crossroads hit-makers formed in 1991 as a five-piece, but the veteran rappers were reduced to a trio early last year when both Wish Bone and Krayzie Bone walked out of the group to pursue solo endeavors.

Ice Cube has urged fans of his "Friday" film franchise to bombard his co-star Chris Tucker with messages on Twitter to convince the comedian to sign on for another sequel.

The 1995 cult favorite, about a pair of street-smart slackers, spawned two sequels and helped to launch the hip-hop star as a movie mogul.

Ice Cube is currently writing a new installment of the fun comedy, a follow-up to 2002's "Friday After Next," and he's eager to get Tucker on board too.

Ice Cube almost missed out on his movie breakthrough because his audition for "Boyz N The Hood" was awful.

The rapper admits he felt "totally unqualified" to become a movie star and director John Singleton recalls his star showing up totally unprepared.

Flavor Flav, Ice Cube, MC Hammer, Bobby Brown and Lil Jon will join Charlie Sheen at the Insane Clown Posse's four-day rap and wrestling festival in Illinois next month.

Sheen announced he'd be among the presenters in an excited tweet on Wednesday, and now the full line-up has been announced.

Sheen and Flav will co-host the music and wresting event, dubbed the Gathering Of The Juggalos, while rappers Ice Cube, Lil Jon, Paul Wall and MC Hammer will join Bobby Brown on the bill.

The 12th annual Gathering of the Juggalos will take place at Cave-In-Rock, Illinois from 11-14 August.

Rap and movie mogul Ice Cube has confirmed reports of a planned biopic about his groundbreaking former group N.W.A.

The "It Was a Good Day" hitmaker fronted the original gangsta rap act with Dr. Dre and admits he's working on a new film about "the world's most dangerous group."

He says, "I think N.W.A. changed a lot in pop culture and people should see how we started, how the neighborhood we came from created N.W.A. and then N.W.A. changed the neighborhoods we come from. It's definitely a story that needs to be told."

Film bosses behind upcoming movie Lottery Ticket have been hit with a lawsuit from a screenwriter who alleges his idea was stolen.

Tom Huang filed papers at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday claiming he wrote a treatment for a movie plot in 2004 and talked it over with his agent Brad Kaplan.

The writer alleges Kaplan "stole" the idea and passed it on to his client Erik White, who wrote and directed Lottery Ticket, about a young man who has to fend off his greedy neighbors when they discover he's holding a winning ticket worth $350 million."

Director John Singleton has pulled out of plans for a movie version of 1980s TV hit The A-Team, after the project was postponed, according to reports.
