Veteran rapper Ice-T had some words of advice shortly before Paris Hilton began her jail sentence on Sunday - assault a fellow inmate to serve your time in protective custody. The singer claims Hilton would find it less traumatic away from the general prison population.

A coloring book featuring images of rappers 50 Cent and Ice T brandishing weapons has been slammed by parents as "sick." The book, Gangsta Rap, includes line drawings of famous hip-hop stars holding guns and knives - pictures which have infuriated those concerned for the impact of the images on young children.

Rapper Ice-T and his wife Nicole "Coco" Austin are writing a book revealing the secrets to a long-lasting relationship.

The rapper, real name Tracy Marrow, and Austin, a swimsuit model, tied the knot on December 31, 2005.
