Firearms Enthusiast & Anthrax Guitarist Scott Ian Calls For More Gun Control

Following last Friday morning's deadly cinema massacre in Colorado, Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian is calling for new legislation to tackle gun ownership rules.

Ian, who is a firearms fan, admits he was sickened to hear about the killing spree, which killed 12 people at a midnight screening of "The Dark Knight Rises."

The guitarist wants laws to stop guns from falling into the wrong hands.

Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian has donned full prosthetics to appear as a zombie in the new series of The Walking Dead.

The musician is a big fan of the horror genre and was delighted to be asked to appear in an episode of the drama show. Ian happily spent hours in the make-up chair in August preparing to film his role as a member of the undead and he insists all the hard work was worth it.

Red Hot Chili Peppers star Anthony Kiedis is selling off an MTV Europe Award to help raise funds for ongoing relief in devastated areas of Japan.

The item features among the fresh highlights of an ongoing online auction organized by Japanese pop star Yoshimi. Fall Out Boy & Anthrax Join Forces, Play Debut Gig

The rock supergroup formed by members of Fall Out Boy and Anthrax made its live debut in New York on Tuesday night.

The Damned Things, featuring Joe Trohman, Andy Hurley, Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano performed their first set at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn.

The group played eight songs and guitarist Scott Ian tells Spin.com, "This is still all so new to us. There's no baggage yet. We're still very much in the honeymoon period. I remember what it was like to be in Anthrax back in 1984. It's just really exciting to get to do that again. I'm in a new band again. It's a blast."

Rocker Joey Belladonna has reunited with his old Anthrax bandmates for the heavy metal group's upcoming summer tour.

The frontman will reteam with Charlie Benante, bassist Frank Bello, Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano for a series of Big Four dates with Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth at Europe's touring Sonisphere festivals.
