Radiohead's 'Paranoid Android' Tops Best Song List

Radiohead's "Paranoid Android" has topped a new list of the best songs of the past 15 years.

The 1997 track beat out Arcade Fire's "Rebellion (Lies)" and "Hey Ya!" by Outkast in the countdown.

The Strokes' "Last Nite" and "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers also made the top five, while tunes by The White Stripes ("Fell In Love With A Girl"), Hot Chip ("Over And Over"), The Verve ("Bittersweet Symphony") and the late Amy Winehouse ("Rehab") made the top 10.

EMI's Family Of Artists And Songwriters Raise $940,000 To Support Japanese Red Cross Disaster Relief Efforts

An auction of exclusive personal items and memorabilia donated by EMI’s family of artists and songwriters has raised $940,000 in funds to help the Red Cross support people affected by last month’s earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

The charity auction, which launched on eBay’s worldwide sites on April 5, attracted bids totaling $470,000 from music fans around the world. All the money from winning bidders will be doubled through a donation by EMI.

Lil Wayne's multi-million-selling album Tha Carter III has been named the Best Album of 2008 in the year's first pop poll.

The rapper's hit album beat Girl Talk's "Feed The Animals" release and TV on the Radio's "Dear Science" in the new Blender magazine hitlist.

Paul McCartney Loves Duffy Cover

Singer Duffy has recorded a version of Paul McCartney's classic song "Live And Let Die" for charity - and the Beatles legend is astonished with the result. The Welsh songstress tackled the hit Bond theme for her contribution to the upcoming War Child charity album Heroes.

And McCartney is bowled over with the new version of his Oscar-nominated Wings song.

The track is among a host of classic cover versions slated for inclusion on the new album, which is due for release in November.

Stars Design T-Shirts For Charity

Iggy Pop, Duran Duran and Daft Punk are among the musicians who have designed T-shirts to raise money for political charity Rock The Vote. The stars have all come up with their own take on the world-famous Playboy magazine 'bunny' logo for the 2008 Playboy Rock The Rabbit T-shirt series.

The shirts will be sold at Bloomingdales stores in the U.S. and online at

Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody, KT Tunstall and the Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne have been invited to select the 10 albums that will compete for the 2007 Shortlist Music Prize. The celebrity panel must select from 61 nominated albums that have yet to sell more than 500,000 copies in the United States.
