Bruce Springsteen has conjured up a Trans-Atlantic double by taking his hit new album Magic to the top of both the British and American charts. The rocker topped the albums chart in Britain on Sunday and now he has rocketed to number one in America after notching up 335,000 sales of Magic in its first week on release.

Soulja Boy's Crank That (Soulja Boy) spent two weeks at number one earlier this month but fell to two last week as West scored a brief chart double by claiming top spots on the Billboard album and singles charts.

Capitol Records' new R&B crooner J. Holiday debuts his first single, Bed, from his forthcoming album Back of My Lac, due in stores October 2. Bed was written by The Dream and Tricky Stewart, the pair responsible for Rihanna's Umbrella.
