Hellogoodbye are a power pop band that hail from Huntington Beach, California and came together in 2001 when singer Forrest Kline and Jesse Kurvink decided to form a band. The duo was still in high school at the time and uploaded their music to their website, in addition to playing local shows. Over the next two years the duo amassed a large enough following that Drive-Thru Records offered them a record deal in 2003. Hellogoodbye released their debut album, “Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!” in 2006.
Hellogoodbye's lineup changed drastically just before they signed with Drive-Thru Records. Currently the band consists of Forrest Kline on vocals, guitar, and ukulele; Augustine Rampolla on keyboard, guitar, bass, ukulele, and percussion; Andrew Richards on guitar, ukulele and mandolin; and Michael Garzonon drums, guitar, mandolin, and keyboard. The band followed up their debut release with the Vans Warped Tour, and toured with bands, such as The Full Effect, Cute Is What We Aim For, Ozma and Peachcake, and The Plain White T's. 2007 saw the band head to Australia with Boys Like Girls, and play at the Reading and Leeds Festivals in England. The next two years saw more world tours for Hellogoodbye and work began on their second album. “Would It Kill You?” appeared in 2010 on the band's own label, Wasterd Summer Records, followed by more touring in support of the album with New Found Glory, Saves the Day, and Fireworks.
