The Helio Sequence is an American alternative rock band formed in 1999. The duo consisting of Brandon Summers on vocals/guitars and Benjamin Weikel on drums/keyboards is from Beaverton, Oregon, a suburb of Portland and signed to label Sub Pop. The band produces an eccentric brand of indie rock mixed with electronic elements. In 1999 they released their debut EP, “Accelerated Slow Motion Cinema” which was followed in 2000 by their full-length debut, “Com Plex,” on Cavity Search Records.
