Ozzy Sings Dylan
Ozzy Osbourne is the unlikely choice to croon Bob Dylan's Masters Of War on a new metal reworking of the folk rocker's classics. Mountain stars Leslie West and Corky Laing have rearranged and recorded a collection of Dylan tunes and they asked Ozzy to join them in the studio.
The covers album also features Allman Brothers Band guitarist Warren Haynes.
Osbourne is a longtime Mountain fan - he covered the group's Mississippi Queen on his Prince of Darkness box set in 2005.

Before long, he set out on an influential career in music of his own, eventually selling out arenas and garnering multi-platinum sales. Peter Frampton's Latest, "Fingerprints," Hits Stores Sept. 12
"This is the album I've been waiting my entire life to make," says Peter Frampton of his remarkable new CD, Fingerprints. It's an impressive 14-tune collection of guitar mastery that crosses several musical borders, from funked-up R&B to razor-edged rockers to rootsy blues to country-flamed beauties to jazzy Django swing to reflective impressionism. And, on the disc, in what may come as a surprise to longtime fans, Frampton begs off singing to focus exclusively on the six-string.
