The Top 15 Boy Bands Of All Time
All girls look to the guys in boy bands to help them get through their awkward preteen years. These handsome guys always tell you they love you, that you're smart, beautiful, and the only one for them. Their signatures in magazines are always dotted with hearts, they always look as if they can look off the page into your soul. Is it any wonder that boy bands continue to be popular with young girls?

(BTW: Boy bands aren't just popular with young girls. Women continue to stay faithful to their bands as they grow older, hence the popularity of the recent "NKOTBSB" tour featuring 90's sensatio...

Top 5 Guilty Pleasure 90s Songs

November 17th, 2013 11:30am EST
Sixpence
I was listening to the radio on the way home from a car ride the other day and found a station that was playing some 90s music. It’s 92.9 in NH, if you’re wondering. They don’t always play 90s music but if you switch to it, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll hear something from that decade.

I’m a 90s kid. I was born in 83, so I suppose I’m a child of the late 80s and 90s. But I really don’t remember actively liking things until the 90s. It’s funny though because in the mid-90s I wasn’t even a fan of the music that I’m writing about here.

I don’t really believe in guilty pleasures. I feel...

Rolling Stone recently tasked their readers with voting on the worst songs of the 1990s - there were plenty to choose from. At least no one had really mastered the use of Auto-Tune yet. Here are the Top (bottom?) 10 worst songs of the 1990s:

10. 4 Non Blondes, "What's Up?" - Lead singer Linda Perry would later write songs for P!nk and Christina Aguilera.

9. Right Said Fred, 'I'm Too Sexy' - The 90s was the decade of supermodels. Right Said Fred wanted to cash in, but instead created a theme song for the models they tried to make fun of.

The organizers of the Los Angeles street fair which is set to feature Hanson, Bobby Womack and the reunited Butthole Surfers this weekend are facing a desperate last-ditch push for cash to stage the event.

Bosses are now hoping to raise $142,000 by noon on Wednesday in order to continue with the 20011 fair.

Teenyboppers. Every generation has a set of them—musical artists who are talented, but kid-friendly to the point that they send the youth into a frenzy. They’re a record label staple: young acts that can spur an enamored tween demographic, one without disposable income, to force their parents do the spending for them with tears and declarations of imminent death if they don’t have that poster hanging in their room or an entire album downloaded on itunes. While it is clear that some tween acts have been less talented than others, they are still generally met with a particular sort of disdain...

Let this be a rallying cry to all the level-headed, music-loving people out there – and let it be a warning to all the responsible and interested parents – we have a crisis on our hands, and its name is Justin Bieber.

He is spreading through this planet like a virus, infecting every nation, suffocating well-executed lyrics and creative musicality and replacing them with shiny hair and eerily unblemished skin. I know what you’re thinking, this kind of thing has come around before, and it’s always been dismissed quickly and efficiently as nothing but a fad. This may be true, but make no m...

Recently, Justin Bieber raised eyebrows with plans for his 16th birthday party, including a waiver obtained by TMZ.com that absolved him if children were hurt while playing paintball or basketball.

Have The Jonas Brothers Lost Their Luster?

June 16th, 2009 9:34am EDT
Jonas Brothers
Recent rumblings in the press seem to suggest that the Jonas Brothers are not the hot commodity they once were. Consider, for example, the release of their recent 3D film project "The Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience." It pulled in just a little over $12 million. Yes, they are still a million dollar music act, but the millions that they are now generating is deemed under par for a top selling act of today. However, this scenario perhaps had more to do with the fact that parents weren't on board to shelling out the $20 price tag that came with the flick.

Is the trio to suf...
