Gucci Mane was arrested Saturday on drug and weapon possession charges.

The rapper, real name Radric Davis, reportedly got angry when police officers approached him in Atlanta around 1 a.m. The report reads Davis became “increasingly agitated with officers and began cursing and threatening them.”

Police apprehended Davis and searched him, whereupon they found a handgun and some marijuana. He was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct and marijuana possession.

Rapper Gucci Mane is in police custody in Atlanta, Georgia after officials issued a warrant for his arrest last week.

The Spring Breakers star, real name Radric Davis, was accused of hitting a soldier over the head with a bottle at a nightclub in the city on March 16th, resulting in the alleged victim - who has only been identified as James - requiring 10 stitches.

A warrant was issued for Davis' arrest, and on Wednesday it was revealed he is in custody at Fulton County Jail.

Rapper Gucci Mane has been ordered to pay more than $270,000 to a jewelry company in Georgia for borrowing a set of diamonds and failing to return them.

Bosses of A&A Diamonds filed a lawsuit against the star in Henry County, Georgia earlier this year, claiming they loaned Gucci Mane a ring, necklace and bracelet and gave him 15 days to either return the pieces or pay for them.

Embattled rapper Gucci Mane has to wait a little longer before he walks free from jail due to "procedural hold-ups."

The troubled hip-hop star, real name Radric Davis, was detained in April after allegedly violating the terms of his probation stemming from a 2005 assault conviction.
