Grupo Bryndis is an internationally known Mexican musical group that was founded in 1983 in Santa Paula, California by the band’s leader, guitarist and song-writer Mauro Posadas. Band members include: Mauro Posadas, (songwriter and lead guitar), Tony Solis (lead vocals), Gerardo Izaguirre (bass guitar), Claudio Montano (keyboards), Mauro Posadas Jr. (drums) and Freddy Solis (percussion).

They issued their debut album with Tony Solis on lead vocals, “Alma Vacia,” in 1986. Their 1997 album, “Asi Es El Amor,” reached #9 on the Billboard Latin Albums chart. In 2001 they reached #1 on the Latin Albums chart with “Historia Musical Romantica” and “En El Idioma Del Amor.” Their 2010 album, “Más Allá Del Tiempo Y La Distancia,” reached #6 on the Latin Albums chart, marking their 11th Top 10 album on the chart.
