10/24/2015 11:00am EDT
Best Albums Since 2000 That Didn’t Win Album Of The Year
Who doesn’t want their achievements honored with an award? Winning an award whether you’re an actor, author, musician, or otherwise is considered an honor – high praise and recognition for the respective art. For a musician, nothing is more prestigious than winning a Grammy, with the most coveted Grammy being for album of the year. Just to be nominated is an honor, but to win the award is much sweeter.

Unfortunately, only a select few have won the Grammy for album of the year – it’s more of a rarity than a surefire thing. Arguably, the 00s and 10s have delivered some oddball choices when i...

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's Class of 2015 was officially announced on Tuesday morning, revealing eight new bands and artists who will be immortalized in Cleveland, Ohio (is that really a good thing?)

Although they received only 2.59% of the fan vote, Green Day was elected to the Hall in their first year of eligibility, while bands like Yes, The Moody Blues, Chicago and Warren Zevon -- all eligible for the Hall for at least two decades now -- were snubbed yet again, the four combining for just one nomination in the past quarter century.

"I had to go for a walk," Green Day singer Billi...

9 Rock Bands That Still Have Their Original Members

10/11/2014 1:00pm EDT
It is a true musical rarity when a band can withstand the pressures of touring, internal struggles and outside pressures and stay an entity for an extended period of time. Only a handful of bands can say that they are still as tight of a unit many years after their humble beginnings until today. Many have replaced members but find that their sound just can't be replicated with anyone else, and so back to their original lineup they go.

1. ZZ Top

It was way back in 1969 when the bearded front men of Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill burst onto the music scene as ZZ Top, along with beardless dr...

Steve Soboslai is a guy your mother would love. I know this because the day I first heard of him, my mother turned to me and said, "Why can't you bring a nice boy like that home?"

Unfortunately for her, he's already got a girlfriend. Steve is known to TV audiences for his recent appearance on FOX's Mobbed, where he enlisted Howie Mandel and a flash mob to profess his feelings to Dana, the woman he loved. With that grand gesture, Steve proved that romance isn't dead.

But as awesome as that was, it's only half of his story. He's also a successful musician, one-fourth of the band Punchli...
