Adam Green was born May 28, 1981 in Mount Kisco, New York, he is an American singer-songwriter with a alternative folk/indie feel to his music. Green is probably best known for his association with the Moldy Peaches. Green's musical style is unique, eccentric, intelligent, humorous and well crafted, somewhat reminiscence of Leonard Cohen. Once the Moldy Peaches disbanded Green embarked on a solo career, which was marked by the 2002 release of his debut album, “Garfield” on Rough Trade Records.
