40 Best Songs Of 2015
It’s a tall task to pick the best albums in any given year, specifically when it comes to ranking them. Even more difficult is selecting the best songs as the music industry is much more record/song-centric than it was once was. Even when albums (exception: Adele’s 25) don’t sell, songs do. There were lots and lots of notable songs from 2015, so narrowing the list to 40 is an arduous task. As arduous as it was, here’s our best shot – 40 of the Best Songs of 2015.

1) The Weeknd, “Can’t Feel My Face” (Beauty Behind the Madness)

Adele or the Weeknd for the top spot – that was the question...

Adele Leads Albums To Check Out This Week -- See Full List
Following a jam-packed week including a showdown for the top spot on the Billboard between Justin Bieber and One Direction, this week is top-heavy. While the return of rapper Jadakiss is notable, the artist that makes this week top heavy is none other than Adele Adkins, better known as simply Adele. Ask anyone in the industry – everyone KNOWS Adele is a lock to sell a lot of albums and score her second consecutive number one album. Honestly, who would want to compete against a juggernaut?

Who’s To Blame? 15 Songs That Point The Finger

11/8/2015 11:00am EST
Playing The Blame Game: 15 Songs That Point The Finger
Sigh, doesn’t it always seem like we as a society are ready to blame something or somebody for something? If we feel bad when we wake up, we blame it on our boss for being, um, an inappropriate word (your choice of course). If we all can’t seem to “love again,” it’s that bleeping ex that ruined love. If we’re Democrats, we blame Republicans or visa versa. Basically, there’s always blame to be shared.

This list features a jam-packed 15 songs that blame something or someone for certain circumstances. If for some reason you don’t invest your time into these songs, well YOU’RE TO B! Don’t be ...

25 Best Songs Of 2015 (So Far)
Ah, the time has come to examine the best songs of 2015. In an age where records dominate as opposed to the albums themselves, there is always an abundance of terrific songs to choose from. So here goes nothing – 25 of the best songs of 2015… so far! And by the way, if a song appears from 2014, it is because it blew up in 2015 or its parent album is from 2015.

1) The Weeknd, “Can’t Feel My Fac...

Godsmack And Spoon Lead New Albums: This Week In Music

8/5/2014 9:00am EDT
Godsmack
Summer 2014, sadly, remains a lethargic time for new music. July definitely didn’t give folks much reason to pull out their billfolds or redeem those handy-dandy iTunes cards to purchase a full album. Honestly, everyone should be thanking 5 Seconds of Summer for providing a lift with their self-titled debut.

This first week in August isn’t exactly ‘hot’ either (still talking about albums here of course), but as The Temptations once sung, “beauty’s only skin deep, yeah, yeah, yeah!” While the industry could stand that Taylor Swift sized release about now, a pop compilation (Now 51) and ...
