The 80's are back in style, for better or for worst, and few things define the genre quite as well as its music. The 80's was probably as a decade responsible for more cheesy pop classics than any other combined, and while some were truly great and classic (see anything from Paul Simon's "Graceland") much of it falls firmly in the "so bad it's good" category.

Rocker Dave Grohl has reportedly turned documentarian to chronicle the history of the studio where he recorded Nevermind with Nirvana over 20 years ago

REO Speedwagon star Kevin Cronin has revealed news of the project to ArtisanNews.com, hinting he'll be a part of the untitled Sound City Studios film.

The Go-Go's Receive Hollywood Walk Of Fame Honor

The original line-up of 1980s girl group The Go-Go's reunited on Thursday to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The pop band, fronted by Belinda Carlisle, unveiled the 2,444th pavement plaque outside the old Masque nightclub, where they performed their first show.

Singer Jane Wiedlin talked about the band's early days as she accepted the honor, telling the crowd, "We loved the Hollywood Walk of Fame even then. In our wildest dreams, we could never have dreamed our little band would get a star on the Walk of Fame."

Former 1980s pop star Belinda Carlisle has spoken for the first time about her 10-year romance with late rocker Michael Hutchence.

The Go-Go's star admits she was infatuated with the INXS frontman, who also dated Helena Christensen, Kylie Minogue and fathered a daughter with British writer Paula Yates.

Carlisle says, "It was more friendship, but I guess you could say romance. He was a heartbreaker, totally. But I was smart enough not to be too serious about someone like that because he'd just break your heart. He had a charisma I've never seen in anyone else."

Pop star Belinda Carlisle has defended her decision to smooth out her wrinkles with Botox injections - insisting everyone in the entertainment industry undergoes a little "tweaking."

The former The Go-Go's frontwoman, who endured a 30-year battle with drug and alcohol abuse, admits she often uses the facial-freezing jabs to enhance her appearance.

And although she hasn't yet gone under the knife for a more drastic procedure, Carlisle admits she is considering it.

The Go-Go's Cancel Farewell Tour

The Go-Go's have scrapped plans for a summer farewell tour after guitarist Jane Wiedlin injured her knee in a hiking accident.

Wiedlin tore her ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) after falling 20 feet during a hike near her home in Northern California late last month.

She is scheduled for ACL replacement surgery in the coming weeks and faces up to a year of recovery.

And now the band is offering up refunds for fans hoping to catch the rockers on their planned final tour.
