Glasvegas are a Scottish Indie rock band from the East End of Glasgow. The band consists of vocalist James Allan, guitarist Rab Allan, bassist Paul Donoghue and drummer Jonna Löfgren.

The band's debut single was the limited edition double A-side single, “I'm Gonna Get Stabbed”/ “Ina Lvs Rab,” which was released in May 2004. Three further singles were released through WaKS and Sane Man, all of which failed to chart.

The band signed with Columbia Records in early 2008 and released two further singles, “Geraldine” and “Daddy's Gone,” which reached #16 and #12 on the U.K. Singles chart respectively. The band's debut album, “Glasvegas,” was released in September 2008 and reached #2 on the U.K. Albums chart. The album was nominated the 2009 Mercury Prize.

A mini-Christmas album, “A Snowflake Fell (And It Felt Like a Kiss),” followed in December 2008, which failed to chart in the U.K.

Their second full-length studio album, “Euphoric Heartbreak” (stylized as “EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\”) was released in 2011 by Columbia Records. The first commercial single from the album was “Euphoria, Take My Hand.”
