9/27/2015 2:03pm EDT
13 'What If' Songs – Hypothetically Speaking!
Ah, those glorious things called “what if” questions. What are what if questions? They’re those hypothetical questions that haven’t happened and ultimately may or may not happen. Interestingly, numerous musicians have written and performed songs based upon them. This hypothetical list explores 13 what if questions, in all their hypothetical glory!

1) Meghan Trainor, “What If I” (Title, 2015)

“What if I, I wanna kiss you tomorrow?” If that’s the case Meghan Trainor, then by all means go for it! On “What If I,” the retro-pop singer knows that this dude is the ‘real deal.’ She’s qu...

12 Songs All About 'Sobriety'
Demons are everywhere. Okay not literally, but metaphorically. One demon that often entices is the “bottle,” aka alcohol in some form or fashion. Don’t get it twisted – alcohol can be marvelous and incite fun times in moderation. That said it can also be destructive. When it becomes destructive or counterproductive, then the “sober up” has to happen – the hangover must end.

So what does any of this have to do with 12 Songs All About 'Sobriety'? Well now… Basically, these songs all approach sobriety from a variety of angles. Sometimes being sober is seen in a positive light, while o...

Country Rock Star Brantley Gilbert Weds

Brantley Gilbert
Country rock singer-songwriter Brantley Gilbert and Amber Cochran tied the knot at the star's home in Georgia recently. His new wife was the inspiration for hit songs including "More Than Miles" and "You Don't Know Her Like I Do."

The singer told E! earlier this year that the pair had some ups and downs, and he nearly lost her after making some poor decisions: "I met her 10 years ago. I met her in church, and long story short, we were on and off for five years, mostly on. Losing her, it was a straight downhill jolt at first."

He added, "She's the one that got away for five years, and they...

Here are eight albums to check out this week!

Country Star Brantley Gilbert Shows Love For 2nd Amendment With
How much do you love the 2nd Amendment? You don't have to answer. You don't even have to love the 2nd Amendment. Brantley Gilbert loves it more than you either way.

The country star just devoted roughly 47% of his skin to gun rights, with a new giant-size tattoo. Here's how he broke the news on Facebook: "So BG nation.... I wanted to take my support of the 2nd amendment to another level, so my boy Carl Grace came by the house and hooked me up yesterday!!!"

The tat, obviously, can be seen at up top in all its probably-extremely-painful glory.

And if you're still doubting Brantley Gilbert'...

Biggest Breakthrough Musicians Of 2014
Some succeed and some don’t. It’s a very simplistic statement, but a true one that’s applicable to any number of things. In the case of musicians in 2014, whether it’s fair or not, some crashed and burned, while others excelled. Excelling doesn’t mean that the respective musician sold a lot of albums (few did), but it does mean these artists established their brand, making a name for themselves. Here are the biggest breakthrough musicians of 2014.

1) Iggy Azalea

Don’t we all wish we could’ve had as “Fancy” a year as Iggy? Nicki Minaj can throw all the shade she wants, but one fem...

Do The AMAs Foreshadow Potential Grammy Nominees?

Do The American Music Awards Foreshadow Potential Grammy Nominee
The AMAs are truly a popularity contest. The music fans select winners, which is a stark difference from the more prestigious Grammys. Often a gripe of music fans and critics alike are the sometimes odd, ‘out of touch’ choices by the Recording Academy. One that comes to mind is how Macklemore & Ryan Lewis cleaned up the rap categories, yet arguably the more transcendent artist, Kendrick Lamar, when home empty handed.

That said it could be argued both the AMAs and the Grammys have tremendous pros and bothersome cons. Even given the contrasts between both music awards show, the AMAs do...
