August 8th, 2011 9:55pm EDT
Simon & Garfunkel
Bosses of a New York bakery have been forced to pull their signature bread over a copyright dispute with Simon & Garfunkel.

Fairway Cafe to Go proprietors were asked to drop their Scarborough Fairway wreath-shaped loaf - because of its ties to the duo's hit "Scarborough Fair."

The bakers opted for the title because the bread features parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme - the lyrics of Paul Simon's folk tune.

A representative for the bakery says the item has been changed to Fairway's Herb Wreath due to "an infringement rights issue."

The spokesperson says, "Fairway was sent a cease and de...

One of the best things about being a rock star is that you don't have to stay in shape to be successful. You can be skinny and scrawny like Jimmy Page and Flavor Flav or you can be large and in charge like Meatloaf and Heavy D however, to have bad hair can be some what of a set back.

Newcomer Lisa Palleschi Releases Her Debut Album, "Released"

November 24th, 2006 10:00am EST
Lisa Palleschi
"I think this album has two personalities," Lisa Palleschi says of her debut, Released. "Half the songs are really pretty ballads, love songs, and the other half are more in-your-face, rock songs."

Indeed, Released is chock full of humanity: Its songs map the extreme ups and downs that every person experiences. It's full of love (the sensuous, lush cover of The Cure's classic "Just Like Heaven") and heartbreak (the scornful "I Wanna See You Cry"). And the big-voiced Long Island, N.Y. born siren wouldn't have it any other way.

Ranging from the sweeping to the sweet, the beautifully...
