Futureheads frontman Barry Hyde is considering canceling his wedding - to play at a gig instead. Hyde is due to marry fiance Laura this summer, but may have to re-arrange the June 13 ceremony to perform at Scotland's T in the Park festival.

The Futureheads debuted in 2004 along with other post-punk revivalists Franz Ferdinand and Bloc Party. Each band has had varying degrees of success over the last four years. The Futureheads, who were outshined at the time by Bloc Party's critical acclaim and Franz Ferdinand's monster hit "Take Me Out," now find themselves without a record label and poised to take on the record industry as a whole.

Rockers The Futureheads were disappointed when fellow British band Radiohead released their album In Rainbows in stores - because it went against their revolutionary Internet download concept.

2006 was packed with fresh talent. New artists like Corinne Bailey Rae, The Arctic Monkeys and The Feeling stormed the UK, as well as the international music scene, bringing with them new sounds and never-before seen achievements.
