Some of you may be familiar with 'American Authors' from their infectious song 'Best Day of My Life.' You can hear them slowly starting to trickle onto popular stations on the radio. They fall firmly in the same vein as Imagine Dragons, Smallpools and the Vamps.

  The 55th Annual Grammy Awards got off to a hot start on the red carpet, where music's biggest stars gathered before the main event at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Most stars adhered to the requests in the memo that CBS sent out on Wednesday, asking stars to tone their fashion choices down. The memo specifically asked that "buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered"; also warning that "see through" fashions, visible thongs and attire exposing any part of "genital regions" was forbidden at this year's award show.

fun., The Black Keys and Mumford & Sons dominated the 55th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, sweeping up eight of the top honors between them.

Taylor Swift, One Direction and Justin Bieber will perform at the Z100 Jingle Ball 2012 in Madison Square Garden on Friday, Dec. 7, in New York City.

Maroon 5 have made pop chart history by becoming the first band to top 490,000 digital download sales in a week.

The group's "Payphone" has come crashing into the Billboard Hot 100 at number three, challenging Aussie singer Gotye, whose "Somebody That I Used To Know" scores a second week at the top of the countdown.

The 493,000 sales logged by singer Adam Levine, his bandmates and guest Wiz Khalifa is almost 30,000 more than the Black Eyed Peas, who set the digital downloads record for groups in 2009 with Boom Boom Pow.

Pop group Fun. have achieved the near impossible and kept a surging Justin Bieber off the top of the U.S. pop charts.

The band's "We Are Young" anthem scores a fifth week at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 as Bieber's "Boyfriend" debuts at two thanks to the second biggest first-week digital sales ever.

"Boyfriend" opens with 521,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Only Flo Rida's "Right Round" has debuted with more digital sales - 636,000 in 2009.
