TORONTO (AP) - Keyboardist and songwriter Richard Bell, who played with Janis Joplin, has died of cancer in a Toronto hospital. He was 61.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation today announced its 2006 Inductees. This year's class includes Black Sabbath, Blondie, Miles Davis, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Sex Pistols, plus the Lifetime Achievement Award going to Herb Alpert & Jerry Moss.
