A Flock of Seagulls are an English new wave band that formed in 1979 in Liverpool by brothers Michael Score on keyboards and vocals, and Alister James Score on drums. The brothers recruited Frank Maudsley on bass, and Paul Reynolds on guitar to round out the band. The band came to fame with a string of international hit singles, including “I Ran,” “Space Age Love Song,” “Wishing” and “The More You Live, the More You Love.” A Flock of Seagulls got their star by playing local clubs and venues, which led to a record deal with Jive Records.
