Rapper Flo Rida turned into a diva at a music festival in Singapore over the weekend when he refused to leave his hotel room for his concert start time and then extended his set.

The "Low" hitmaker was supposed to hit the stage at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Center for a midnight performance as part of the two-day Avalon At Large GO! event, which was staged around the Singapore Formula One Grand Prix.

But he kept organisers waiting for over an hour when he refused to leave his hotel room.

50 Cent and Pitbull will be showing off their caring side when they co-headline a new breast cancer benefit concert in Florida next month.

The rappers will join Asher Roth, Ray J, Nelly and Flo Rida, among others at the third annual Think Pink Rocks Concert on October 9.

The mini-festival will benefit the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, the Boca Raton Community Hospital Women's Center for Breast Care, and other breast cancer research charities.

Brandy began spending time with the "Right Round" hitmaker last year, but admitted she was reluctant to "commit" to the rapper because she didn't want to end up heartbroken.

Flo Rida was drafted in as a last-minute replacement at a show in New Jersey after Caribbean rapper Iyaz was forced to pull out because his plane was cancelled.

The Right Round hit-maker was partying at Harrah's in Atlantic City, where Iyaz was slated to appear, on Friday. Organizers of the Pool After Dark bash were thrown into a panic when they were told that Iyaz's plane from the Bahamas had been cancelled, and faced having to disappoint club goers.

Rapper Flo Rida has responded to reports connecting two members of his entourage to an animal abuse scandal, insisting he's "sickened" by what has been written.

Internet reports suggested that two men traveling with the Low hitmaker were wanted for questioning by police in Kentucky after they were spotted stepping off his tourbus and allegedly killing a rabbit on Wednesday.
