Fireflight is an American Christian rock band formed in Eustis, Florida in 1999. The band is signed by Flicker Records and comprises lead singer Dawn Michele, guitarists Justin Cox and Glenn Drennen, bassist Wendy Drennen and drummer Adam McMillion. In February 2011, the band's original drummer Phee Shorb left to become a Christian speaker.

They independently released the album “Glam-Rok,” which was produced by guitarist Justin Cox, in 2002. They followed it up with the 5-track EP “On the Subject of Moving Forward” in 2004 before they were signed to the major record label Flicker Records.

After years of touring they released their major label debut album, “The Healing of Harms,” in 2006. The album was a hit, peaking at #37 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The single “You Decide” featuring Josh Brown of Day of Fire, peaked at #27 on the Billboard Hot Christian Singles chart.

In 2008 they released their third LP, “Unbreakable,” on Flicker Records. The album debuted at #10 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and #15 on the Top Christian Albums chart. The single “Unbreakable” reached #20 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart.

“For Those Who Wait,” their fourth full-length studio album, was released in 2010 on Flicker Records. It peaked at #5 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Rock Or Rap Gospel Album category, marking Fireflight's first Grammy nomination.

In 2012 Fireflight issued, “Now,” on Flicker Records. The album reached #1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, #7 on the Independent Albums chart and #51 on the Billboard 200. The album’s single, “Stay Close,” reached #34 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart.
