Dave Faber From Faber Drive’s Jail Scare
Faber Drive’s fans were shocked on Jul 31 when the band’s lead singer, Dave Faber, tweeted that he might be sent to jail.
“Not sure how to feel right now because I was threatened yesterday with possibly going to jail for a year,” the Canadian rocker tweeted to his 29,000 followers. After concerned tweets from his friends and fans, he said that he did not know why he was being sent to the slammer either.

Canadian quartet Faber Drive's debut album, Seven Second Surgery, is in stores now. The album features the singles "Tongue Tied" and "Second Chance."
Faber Drive got their first break when lead singer/guitarist, Faber, submitted a song to a Vancouver radio station's battle of the bands in 2006. The band won the competition and soon the pieces started coming together. Faber Drive hooked up with Hinder producer Brian Howes and Nickelback producer Joey Moi, who were blown away by Faber's acoustic demos. Howes asked if he could co-write with Faber and Moi offered to start preproduction....

Faber Drive broke onto the Canadian music scene in 2006 by winning the 'Battle of the Bands' at 99.3 The FOX and came Vancouver's #1 band.
