Everything Everything is a British indie band that formed in late 2007, originate from Tynedale, Kent and Guernsey, and reside in Manchester. Both singer/guitarist Jonathan Higgs and bassist Jeremy Pritchard have degrees in popular music which they obtained while studying at Salford University.

Everything Everything released their first single “Suffragette Suffragette” in December 2008through XL Recordings as a limited 7-inch vinyl only release. This was later followed by the release of the single “Photoshop Handsome” in July 2009, available only as a limited 7-inch single. In autumn 2009, the band then released “MY KZ, UR BF” as another vinyl-only single release, this time with the record label Young & Lost Club.

Not long after receiving a nomination for BBC Sound of 2010, Everything Everything signed to the U.K. arm of Geffen Records before releasing the single “Schoolin'” in June 2010 as a CD single, digital download and also as a 7-inch vinyl. The single became the first to make an impact on the U.K. Singles chart, debuting at #152.

The band's debut album was preceded by a reissue of the single “MY KZ, UR BF,” which debuted on the U.K. Singles chart at #121. The album was then released in August 2010, debuting on the U.K. Albums chart at #17. In July 2011 “Man Alive” was shortlisted for the 2011 Mercury Prize.

Their second full-length album, “Arc,” was issued in January 2013. Preceded by the singles “Cough Cough” and “Kemosabe,” it was produced by David Kosten and released through Sony RCA. “Cough Cough” debuted at #37 on the U.K. Singles chart — marking the band's first Top 40 entry.
