| I must say that while Everclear is not QUITE my favorite band out there, their music has influenced me more than that of any other,,, The state of mind That Art was in and the things he was going through when he wrote the dual-disc set, Songs from an American Movie (Vol.'s I & II) were so close to what I was feeling that the message really hit home for me. If someone else could survive the same as I was going through, then I wasn't alone in the world after all... THEN, I had a chance in the summer of 2007 to meet and talk with Art Alexakis, their frontman. The man is as great in person as he is lyrically. My hat definitely comes off to Everclear. Keep going strong, boys! P.S. Congrats should be in order... Art told me that he had a new baby on the way... | ||
