ABC Announces 'Dancing With the Stars' Contestants

An American football superstar, a legendary TV talk show host, an award-winning country music singing star, an ultra-conservative TV political pundit, a movie star and a former beauty queen are among the performers who will compete this season on Dancing with the Stars, premiering Tuesday, September 12 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on ABC.

Heart-warming stories and riveting musical performances are the heart and soul of summer's hot TV special "CMA Music Festival: Country Music's Biggest Party," which airs Monday, July 24 (9:00-11:00 PM/ET) on ABC.

Added to the list of artists appearing on the special are Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Gary Allan, Dierks Bentley, Sara Evans and Miranda Lambert. Brad Paisley & Billy Currington 2006 Tour Dates

Mercury recording artist Billy Currington will join Brad Paisley's "Time Well Wasted" 2006 tour in support of his sophomore album "Doin' Somethin' Right" (click for review). The 17-date tour kicks off January 25 in Duluth, MN and continues through the beginning of April. It includes stops at the 20,000+ capacity Savvis Center in St. Louis and the 17,000+ capacity Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville. Sara Evans is also slated to perform on the tour.
