David Draiman scraps shows to stay at home with pregnant wife

Disturbed frontman David Draiman has scrapped a series of dates with his new band Device so he can be at home for the birth of his child.

The rocker has cancelled all upcoming commitments to stay by Japanese-American model Lena Yada's side as she counts down to motherhood in October (13).

The couple announced the pregnancy in May (13) and revealed the baby was a boy. They plan to name him Samuel Bear.

The trio joined members of Pantera, Sebastian Bach, Duff McKagan and singer/songwriter Ben Harper at the Dimebag Bash, which annually honors the memory of Abbott, who was the victim of a crazed gunman at a concert in 2004.

Disturbed Is Taking A Break, Not Splitting Up

Disturbed star Dan Donegan has assured fans the band will return from its upcoming hiatus, and there are no plans to split.

The hard rockers will be taking an open-ended break following the release of an upcoming B-sides and rarities collection, but the guitarist insists he and his bandmates will be back.

Kid Rock has been forced to pull out of an appearance at the U.K.'s Download Festival after he was admitted to the hospital on Friday.

The rocker canceled his performance just minutes before he was due to take to the Main Stage at the music event.

A statement from festival organizers reads: "We've had the curse of Download. Kid Rock is not very well (and) we've had to rush him to hospital in Nottingham (England). He apologizes to his fans."

Rockers the Disturbed have scored a third number one album in America after taking new release Indestructible to the top of the charts.

The album 252,000 units in its first week on release to put David Draiman's group in the company of Van Halen, U2, Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, Staind and System of a Down - the only other rock acts who can boast three successive number one debuts with studio albums.

Disturbed Star Sells Draiman Castle

Disturbed frontman David Draiman has put his gothic castle on the market for $2.9 million. The rocker bought the Northridge, California property in 2005 and added sculptures of griffins and dragons as well as an exercise room.

Draiman's estate, which has become a landmark in Southern California, also features a guest house, koi pond, waterfall and hidden doors.

Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, Dave Navarro, Aaron Lewis and Disturbed star David Draiman are to pay homage to late rocker 'Dimebag' Darrell Abbott as part of an all-star tribute concert in Los Angeles.

The heavy rock heavyweights will perform Pantera and Damageplan hits Abbott played on before he was shot dead at a concert in Ohio in 2004 at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on May 17.

L.A. hard rock quartet Fireball Ministry will support Finland's H.I.M. at the House of Blues in Hollywood, Calif. on June 11. This will be H.I.M.'s final U.S. performance of the summer, and the groups' first West Coast show together.
