It takes a cataclysmic event to derail Overrated/Underrated from its usual Friday spot. Currently the Oscars have been serving as that disruptive force, but this week interruption comes from the most unlikely source: a sports columnist from the Kansas City Star.

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Steve Winwood, recently named one of Rolling Stone magazine's "100 Greatest Singers of All Time," will ring in the New Year with a series of East Coast concert performances in January. Winwood's upcoming East Coast concert dates mark the first U.S. headline tour since 2007 for the legendary rock superstar, who last toured the states with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers in the summer of 2008.

The Jonas Brothers treated fans to a last-minute post-American Music Awards concert in Hollywood on Sunday night, which they booked just the day before.
Just hours after the trio claimed the AMA's favorite Breakthrough Artist award in Los Angeles, the Jonases took to the stage at the House of Blues on Sunset Strip to perform a free three-hour show, packed with guests and celebrities.

Rock legend Ted Nugent will celebrate America's Independence Day in style by performing his 6,000th concert. Nugent will head home to Detroit, Michigan for the landmark show - part of his 50th tour.
