Estranged former bandmates Robby Krieger and John Densmore proved their friendship was firmly back on track on Thursday (05Dec13) by reuniting for a mini-The Doors show at a special event in Los Angeles.

The pair fell out 10 years ago when Densmore sued Krieger and the late Ray Manzarek over their plans to tour as The Doors of the 21st Century, but the death of the beloved keyboardist in May (13) brought the old pals back together to bury their differences.

Longtime estranged former bandmates Robby Krieger and John Densmore are teaming up to host a screening of acclaimed The Doors documentary Mr. Mojo Risin': The Story of L.A. Woman.

The duo, which fell out a decade ago when Densmore sued Krieger and the late Ray Manzarek over their plans to tour as The Doors of the 21st Century, only recently reconciled - and they are currently planning a concert tribute for Manzarek, who died earlier this year (13).

Footage from Robby Krieger, John Densmore and the late Ray Manzarek's personal archives has been mined for a new The Doors DVD and Blu-Ray release, which will also feature the band's rare early TV appearances.

The Doors drummer John Densmore is hoping to officially end his feud with former bandmate Robby Krieger at a planned tribute for their late pal Ray Manzarek.

John Densmore and SLASH are among the first stars to speak out and pay tribute to The Doors rocker Ray Manzarek after he lost his battle with cancer.

The keyboard player, who co-founded the band with Jim Morrison in 1965, passed away at a clinic in Germany on Monday (20May13) after a fight with bile duct cancer. He was 74.

Bandmate Robby Krieger released a touching statement in the hours after his death, and now The Doors' drummer Densmore has added his own thoughts on Manzarek's passing.

Lost The Doors recording "She Smells So Nice" is to feature on the band's upcoming DVD documentary "Mr. Mojo Risin': The Story Of L.A. Woman."

The track was discovered by producer Bruce Botnick while he was reviewing the recording sessions for a remastered re-release project and it debuted on the band's Facebook.com page earlier this month - and now it has been added to a photo montage at the end of the documentary, which chronicles the making of Jim Morrison's final Doors album before his death in 1971.

The Doors drummer John Densmore has just added to the value of his autograph after stating he'll never sign his name for a fan again.

The "Riders on the Storm" hitmaker has taken to his website to kindly ask fans to stop requesting his signature.

Rocker Jim Morrison has been posthumously pardoned on 41-year-old indecency charges following a unanimous vote by Florida lawmakers on Thursday.

The late Doors singer was arrested in Miami for indecent exposure at a 1969 concert, but Governor Charlie Crist recently launched a campaign to have the count wiped from state records, arguing it was time to forgive and forget.

Last week, Morrison's former bandmate John Densmore insisted the frontman only teased fans during the gig and did not actually expose himself onstage.

Former Fuel frontman Brett Scallions will replace The Cult singer Ian Astbury in Doors reunion band Riders On The Storm. Scallions beat a host of hopefuls to land the job in Doors founders Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek's touring band.

Astbury joined the group when they were known as the Doors Of The 21st Century in 2002. Manzarek and Krieger were forced to change the name when former bandmate John Densmore won a copyright infringement battle.
