Def Leppard and Kiss are in top secret talks to team up for a summer (14) tour.

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell let the news slip when he was asked about rumours of a tour with Poison and KISS during an interview with about possible dates with Kiss and Poison.

He said, "I’d say you'd be half right there, but only half right and half wrong."

Poison bassist Bobby Dall has previously hinted that his group will be touring with Def Leppard, but bandmate Rikki Rockett put down plans last month (Feb14), insisting Poison would not be on the road this summer.

Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott is to produce the new album by Thin Lizzy offshoot act Black Star Riders.

The Pour Some Sugar on Me singer wowed the group as he worked with them on the 2011 reissue of Thin Lizzy’s 1976 album Jailbreak, and was asked to take charge of the controls for a new album.

The rocker is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment after he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, but he's refusing to feel sorry for himself and is already making huge plans for his return when he's healthy.

Def Leppard are heading to the small screen - a new documentary about the British rockers is to be aired as a multi-episode series on TV.

Joe Elliott and his bandmates allowed cameras to follow their every move during a residency at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada earlier this year (13), and now fans will get to see what life is like behind the scenes.

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell is battling cancer.

The 50 year-old rocker, who joined the Pour Some Sugar on Me hit-makers in 1992, went for tests earlier this year after developing a "cough that wouldn't quit." Medics have since diagnosed him with Hodgkin's lymphoma and recommended a six-month bout of chemotherapy.

A statement provided by Campbell to reads: "I'm about two months in and feeling rather spiffy, all things considered. Hodgkin's has an over 80 per cent cure rate, so by my reckoning, if you're going to have a cancer, Hodgie's is the one to have!"

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell has filed for divorce from his wife of 25 years.

The Love Bites hitmaker filed documents at Los Angeles County Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences as the reason behind his split from longterm partner Julie.

In the papers, obtained by, Campbell is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their two daughters Lily Rose, 13, and Una Marigold, 11.

Campbell is also asking the judge to deny spousal support for Julie.

Def Leppard's Phil Collen Donates $20,000 To Cancer Center

Def Leppard star Phil Collen handed over a $20,000 check to a California cancer center on Thursday after selling off one of his most prized guitars.

The rocker, whose father died from pancreatic cancer in 2004, put his special Jackson PC1 guitar up for auction in September and the instrument, which he played during the band's summer tour, netted $15,000 from the winning bidder.

Collen threw in an extra $5,000 donation, and on Thursday, he presented the money to executives of the Gerson Institute in San Diego to help mark November's Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.

Blige was released Tuesday, and if you look close enough (near the end) you can catch Cruise, as aging rocker Stacee Jaxx, belting out a few lines of Bon Jovi's classic "Wanted Dead Or Alive".

The film features the music of numerous 80s hair bands, including Def Leppard, Journey, Poison, and Warrant.

The band's guitarist Phil Collen recently visited the set of movie musical Rock Of Ages and tells VH1 the movie star is a bona-fide rock god in the film.

The family emergency that brought Def Leppard's U.S. tour to a sudden halt has been revealed - singer Joe Elliott's father has died.

The British rockers scrapped a show with Heart in Cincinnati, Ohio on Thursday, revealing only that the ill health of a bandmate's family member had forced them to head back to England.

They also postponed a weekend show in Bristow, Virginia and scrapped dates in Wantagh, New York on July 12, and Holmdel, New Jersey on July 13.

And late on Friday it was revealed Elliott's father had died in a U.K. hospital after a long illness.

British rockers Def Leppard have postponed more gigs as a family member fights illness.

The rock group axed a show in Cincinnati, Ohio on Thursday, revealing few details but putting the cancellation down to the ill health of a family member. That gig will now take place on July 27th.

They have now cancelled more shows, scrapping dates in Wantagh, New York on July 12th, and at Holmdel, New Jersey on July 13th.

A planned show in Bristow, Virginia on Saturday has been postponed until July 31.

A picture of a long-haired, shirtless Tom Cruise performing Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar On Me have been posted online by Rock of Ages director Adam Shankman.

The photo is the first publicity shot for the movie musical, which is currently shooting in Miami, Florida.

Cruise plays rock star Stacee Jaxx in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical.

Rockers Def Leppard are facing a $700,000 lawsuit from their former manager in a dispute over allegations of unpaid tour commission.

Trudy Green, who began managing the band in 2005, is suing the Pour Some Sugar on Me hit-makers and their accountants, claiming she's not been paid for her work on the group's 2008 and 2009 concerts.

She alleges she is owed $75,000 in commission for the 2008 trek, and $85,725 from merchandise sales, as well as $551,250 from this year's U.S. tour.

Poison frontman Bret Michaels has unveiled plans to team up with fellow rockers Def Leppard for a summer 2009 tour - ending a bitter feud between the two groups.

Michaels fell out with singer Joe Elliott in June 2008 after the star criticized Poison's music - accusing them of lacking "substance" in their songs and relying too much on their 1980s image.
