DJ Tiesto Announces Las Vegas Residency
DJ Tiesto has announced a 20-month residency at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.
The Dutch beat--maker insists he won't be making summer pilgrimages to the world's dance music meccas, like Ibiza and the Middle East, and instead he plans to set up shop in Sin City.
Announcing the big music news, Tiesto says, "With the scene blowing up in America, Vegas is so much fun now. It's the right time to do it. I do everything on my gut feeling, and I felt like it's gonna be awesome there. I've been to Ibiza for 10 years, and I love Ibiza, but I always look for something new and a new challenge."...

Bono Teams Up With DJ Tiesto For Charity Album
U2 rocker Bono has teamed up with Dutch DJ Tiesto for a new all-star charity album.
Fellow DJs Calvin Harris and Avicii also feature on Dance (RED), Save Lives, which will benefit Bono's anti-AIDS organization RED.
Tiesto reveals he felt compelled to support the cause after witnessing the plight of those affected by HIV during a trip to Africa in the mid-2000s.

DJ Tiesto Threatened With Legal Action Over Radio Show's Title
Dance music superstar Tiesto has been forced to change the title of his weekly radio show after he was threatened with legal action. The Dutch hitmaker launched his Club Nouveau show in his native Holland last month, but now it will air as Tiesto's Club Life.
Tiesto says, "It seems there's already a show with that name and this person was threatening to sue me."
The Friday night show also appears on XM satellite radio every Saturday, when it is beamed around the world. The busy DJ has been recording his shows from the road as he tours to promote new album Elements of Life.

Dance music phenomenon Tiesto is set to open a restaurant in his native Netherlands. The Suburban Train hit maker, real name Tijs Verwest, will launch Asian fusion diner and club Cineac next month, in what was an old cinema on Amsterdam's Rembrandt Square.
