D4L (Down for Life) is an American rap group composed of Fabo, Mook-B, Stoney and Shawty Lo. D4L was part of the snap music dance-centric subgenre of hip hop. D4L signed to the independent Dee Money Entertainment, which released the group's 2005 debut album, “Down for Life,” in conjunction with Asylum Records. The album’s lead single “Laffy Taffy,” reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart in January 2006. “Down for Life” was certified gold after peaking at #22 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.
