15 Stars Who Got Naked In Music Videos

October 22nd, 2013 8:00pm EDT
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus took it all off for her "Wrecking Ball" video, swinging nude -- save for a pair of work boots -- on the title object. She received plenty of flak for the racy video, most likely because of her age and the fact that she's a role model for millions of young girls.

But she's definitely not the first to bare all in a music short, plenty of other artists have either gone nude or had a model, a girlfriend -- even a model girlfriend -- strip down for one of their videos.

See who else shed their clothes in the name of art after the jump...

DAngelo
R&B star D'Angelo has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct stemming from an arrest in New York last year.

The Brown Sugar singer, real name Michael Archer, was taken into custody after allegedly soliciting oral sex from an undercover police officer he mistook for a prostitute.

He initially pleaded not guilty to the crime and vowed to fight the charge, and he can now put the case behind him for good after reaching an agreement with authorities.

D'Angelo, 37, appeared in a Manhattan court on Friday and entered his plea for the lesser charge of disorderly conduct.

Prosecutors claim the...

2010 Year In Entertainment Review: March

January 1st, 2011 1:00pm EST
Lil Wayne
It was a shocking way to start the spring as March saw two of Hollywood's biggest star couples announce break-ups - Kate Winslet parted ways with her second husband Sam Mendes after seven years and Sandra Bullock's Oscar win was overshadowed after she found out partner Jesse James had cheated on her.

More scandals came as the month progressed, with fiery supermodel Naomi Campbell accused of attacking her driver by striking him on the head, and Michael Jackson's mum Katherine visited by welfare officials in Los Angeles over allegations one of her grandkids had purchased a stun gun.

The 25 Most Important Albums Of The Decade

December 23rd, 2009 11:43am EST
Most Important Albums of the Decade
Pitchfork and Rolling Stone and Spin and all those other outlets have their lists of the best albums of the decade, and you know what? I'm going to let them. There's no point in me trying to come up with that list because there were so many great records to choose from. Who's to say that The Strokes' Is This It? was better than Muse's Absolution or any album by Arcade Fire? You can't! You can't! Best albums are invariably marked by an editor's (or staff's) preference in music. But what about qualifying the most important? I can tell you that Bob Dylan's Modern Times was probably the best re...

December 14th, 2007 10:01am EST
Shawn Pyfrom
Shawn Pyfrom is amazingly astute and mature for a man of his age. At only 21, he already has some fine ideas and ideals. Starpulse talked to him recently about his past work, his current role as the gay Andrew Van De Camp in "Desperate Housewives," his upcoming movie, and more.

We heard that you just turned 21 in August. Happy Birthday!

Thank you. It's very exciting to be 21.

Why?

I would be lying if I said that I hadn't had a few drinks before then, but every time you go to a place that features alcohol, like a bar, club, or restaurant, it's nice to be able to get a dri...

Chris Marsol Releases New Album, 'Butterflys, Lipstick, and Hand Grenades'

May 9th, 2007 9:00pm EDT
Chris Marsol
Let's face it, they've got us all figured out. It's a formula no doubt. Multiply your age by your city and state, add your disposable income level then divide that by your ethnicity and they will surely be able to determine what kind of music you listen to and how to get you to buy it. And unfortunately, we as a society rarely disappoint. Yet we all know that Nirvana fan that used to sneak in her room when no one was privy and pop in that N' Sync album, all the while publicly detesting pop music. That was our first lesson in pop culture: things are rarely as simple as they seem. We l...

The Roots Release 'Best Of' Albums

November 7th, 2005 3:20pm EST
The Roots
A commercially successful, critics' darling is oftentimes an oxymoron in music. Then again, it should come as no surprise that the endlessly innovative hip-hop band, The Roots, have managed to accomplish both. They have sold over three million records since debuting with Organix in 1990. At the same time, they've won a Grammy for best rap performance by a duo or group in 2000 for "You Got Me," and kept fickle critics and their loyal fan base satisfied with groundbreaking experimentation that deftly mixes elements from rock, jazz, soul, house, and any other genre that will make the speakers ...
