Cruz is still a majestic singer, but when she was young she had everything youth brings plus extraordinary maturity. Those, in other words, were the days: as a bazillion reissues attest. This one was an actual album at one point, so you don't get the plethora of duplicates with other reissues that usually plagues her discography. What you do get is the following, none of it over-familiar: "Tamborilero," "Juntitos Tu y Yo," "Cuidate Bien," "Baila Vicente," "Al Vaiven de las Palmeras," "Tumba la Caña Jíbarito," "Sigo Esperando" and "Para Tu Altar."
