'Supernatural' (7.16) Recap: Bad Moon Arising Indeed
I can count the unwatchable episodes of “Supernatural” on one hand—“Bugs,” “Ghostfacers,” and “Red Sky At Morning” immediately come to mind. I will have to add this week’s installment, “Out With the Old,” to that extremely short list. To be fair, it has distinct displeasure of being the first episode after a three-week long hellatus, it also followed the stellar, instant classic of “Repo Man,” so I admit the expectations were great, but sadly, the episode failed more than succeeded.

John Fogerty Says 'Never Say Never' To Creedence Clearwater Revival Reunion
John Fogerty has relaxed one of the most infamous stand-offs in rock history - he has announced he's open to a full Creedence Clearwater Revival reunion.
Fogerty has been at war with his bandmates for many of the 39 years since he quit as frontman, and he refused to join them at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame when the group was inducted in 1993.
But, in an interview with the Calgary Herald, Fogerty says that he no longer feels an intense bitterness towards bassist Stu Cook and drummer Doug Clifford, who he sued in 1997 for performing under the name Creedence Clearwater Revisited.

'American Idol' Recap: The Contestants Rock Some Hall of Famers
It’s official: These judges stink.
At the beginning of the year, all anybody wanted to talk about was American Idol's new judging panel. After all, Simon was gone and this was one of the biggest casting shifts on a hit TV show since Darrin got replaced by Darrin on ‘Bewitched’.
On those initial shows, the judges were a breath of fresh air. Gone was the snarkiness and waiting around for Simon to speak and in was a cohesive unit that actually seemed to enjoy each other.

Writer's Viewpoint: Disputing An Iconic Song List
It takes a cataclysmic event to derail Overrated/Underrated from its usual Friday spot. Currently the Oscars have been serving as that disruptive force, but this week interruption comes from the most unlikely source: a sports columnist from the Kansas City Star.
This is because Joe Posnanski has suggested on his blog that we stop voting artists into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame and shift our focus to Hall-Worthy songs. Songs he deems "Iconic". His criterion for including a song on the ballot is that it be "A song that represents a set of beliefs or a way of life. So, I see these s...
