Jesse Cook was born in Paris, France on November 28, 1964 and is a guitarist, composer, and producer. Cook has become an influential figure in the nouveau flamenco music movement throughout the course of his career, and incorporates flamenco rumba and jazz music into his compositions. He has collaborated and recorded with Montse Cortés, Flora Purim, Holly Cole, Afro Celt Sound System, Buckwheat Zydeco, Danny Wilde of The Rembrandts, Liona Boyd, Ofra Harnoy, Alex Cuba, Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto, Dadawa, Djivan Gasparyan and Dulce Pontes.
