Cobra Starship had an impressive 2011 with the release of their fourth studio album, delivered an epic performance at this past year's VMAs and performed sold-out shows all across latin America. Not to mention these guys collaborated with Sabi to put out one of the the year's biggest singles, You Make Me Feel, which reached the 48th spot on Billboard's Hot 100 year end chart. Cruise & Kidman's Son To DJ Hollywood New Year's Eve Bash

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's teenage son Connor has landed a big New Year's Eve gig - he'll help ring in 2012 as the official DJ at Hollywood's The Big Bang party.

The 16 year old, who performs as DJ C-Squared, will hit the turntables at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf-sponsored bash at the Hollywood and Highland shopping mall.

He'll warm the VIP crowd up for sets by Lupe Fiasco and Cobra Starship.

Ke$ha and Justin Bieber have been nominated for an award by officials at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

The TiK ToK hit-maker and Bieber are both in the running for the Most Animal-Friendly Pop/Hip-Hop Artist title at the Libby Awards, which honor stars who help raise awareness of the cruel treatment of animals, and is run by the organization's youth division peta2.

The singers will battle for the award against Rappers K-Os and Waka Flocka Flame, while Ke$ha is also named in the Best peta2 advert category.

Next week is the much anticipated finals of this season of ‘DWTS,' so of course last night was the much anticipated elimination to decide who was going to be in the final three. I was concerned for J.R. before I looked at the scores last night, but seeing that he actually fell eleven points behind the leader and nine points behind second place worried me more. Sure, Hope was still seven points behind him, but it surprised me. I knew he had a bad night, but didn’t realize quite how bad.
