Sigh, sometimes even the biggest artists make some of the most foolish decisions during their careers. 2014 hasn’t been shy of stupid choices from today’s musicians. Troubled rapper Chief Keef has completed his court-ordered stint in a California rehab centre and returned to his native Chicago, Illinois.

The 18 year old, real name Keith Cozart, was ordered to enrol in a 90-day treatment programme in November (13) after violating the terms of his probation by testing positive for marijuana. He had been ordered to stay sober after pleading guilty to a charge of speeding following an arrest last May (13).

Embattled rapper Chief Keef has blamed an addiction to the potentially fatal cough medicine concoction known as "syrup" for the poor quality of his latest music, insisting his most recent releases were "mistakes".

The 18 year old claims his penchant for sipping on the promethazine and soda drink clouded his judgement on his mixtapes Almighty So and Bang Pt. 2 and he now regrets sharing them with fans.

Rapper Chief Keef has left a top California rehab clinic in a bid to avoid the media.

The troubled star, real name Keith Cozart, has departed Promises in Malibu after the place became a mecca for paparazzi hoping to grab a shot of the hip-hop hitmaker as he serves 90 days of court-ordered treatment.

His lawyer tells TMZ.com Keef has been moved to another rehab facility in Southern California because of the "overwhelming media attention" he was getting.

The rapper is now preparing for Christmas in his new rehab home.

Troubled rapper Chief Keef is heading back behind bars for a probation violation, just 13 days after he was released.

The 18 year old, real name Keith Cozart, is heading to a rehabilitation facility associated with the Cook County Department of Corrections, after a Chicago, Illinois judge sentenced him to 90 days for failing a random drug test.

Rapper Chief Keef has been ordered to hand over $230,000 (£153,000) in damages to bosses at a promotion company after he failed to show up for a scheduled gig in London.

The 17-year-old hip-hop sensation, real name Keith Cozart, was taken into custody in Chicago, Illinois on Monday (17Jun13) on suspicion of misdemeanour trespassing.

The 17-year-old hip-hop sensation, real name Keith Cozart, was driving in Northfield, Illinois when cops allegedly spotted him travelling at double the 55 miles-per-hour (88 kilometres-per-hour) speed limit and pulled his car over.

Rapper Chief Keef was arrested in DeKalb County, Georga, on Monday for smoking marijuana at the LeMeridien Atlanta Perimeter hotel, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

The 17-year-old hip-hop protege, real name Keith Cozart, was arrested for disorderly conduct after hotel security smelled and saw marijuana smoke coming from his room. Police from Dunwoody, Georgia, were called and jailed the rapper at around 5:30 pm and released him 11 hours later.

Rapper Chief Keef has been ordered to pay $2,600 (£1,677)-a-month in child support after he was accused of fathering a child.

An unnamed teenager sued the 17 year old, born Keith Cozart, in January (13) for child support payments, including health insurance and other medical expenses, after claiming the star is the dad of her daughter, who was conceived in 2011.

A judge has now told Cozart to hand over $2,600-a-month in child support, as well as $500 (£322.58) in day care expenses and $10,400 (£6,709) in previously unpaid support.
