Three legendary rock bands are teaming up for what is sure to be the tour of the summer. Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick are heading out on the concert trail starting July 9 in Denver, CO through October 4 in Albuquerque, NM.

Starpulse recently ran a 'Top Ten 80s Albums' list, in which the inclusion of the Top Gun soundtrack inspired me to come up with a list of the "Top Ten 80s Movie Soundtracks." Cake formed in Sacramento, California in 1991. The band quickly became a hot item in the downtown club and cafe scene, then went on to gain a steady following in San Francisco's Bay Area.

Cheap Trick has signed on to be the house band for a 40th anniversary celebration of The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album. Cheap Trick will back a string of star vocalists who will perform tracks from the Sgt. Pepper's album, as well as other Beatles favorites, at the Hollywood Bowl celebration in August.
