Mcbusted to make an album

British pop rockers Mcbusted are to seal their status as a supergroup by signing a deal to record an album of new music.

The band, which is an amalgamation of members of Busted and McFly, threw fans into a frenzy by announcing a 34-date arena tour for next year (14), and many of gigs sold out in minutes.

The stars are now poised to make music together with reports suggesting they are preparing to ink a record deal.

Recent rumblings in the press seem to suggest that the Jonas Brothers are not the hot commodity they once were. Consider, for example, the release of their recent 3D film project "The Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience." It pulled in just a little over $12 million. Yes, they are still a million dollar music act, but the millions that they are now generating is deemed under par for a top selling act of today. However, this scenario perhaps had more to do with the fact that parents weren't on board to shelling out the $20 price tag that came with the flick.

Ex-Busted Members In Court Over Royalties

Defunct British pop group Busted have been accused of "threatening" two ex-members to give up their royalty claims for several of their songs after leaving the band in 2001.

Ki McPhail and Owen Doyle claim they helped to pen four tracks including Year 3000 and What I Go To School For with James Bourne and Matt Willis when they formed a group called The Termites in January 2001. The band then changed their name to Busted after signing to a management company in March that year.

David Gest To Be Best Man At Matt Willis Wedding

Former Busted singer Matt Willis has asked music producer David Gest to serve as best man at his forthcoming wedding. Willis, 23, is currently planning his August 2008 marriage to MTV UK presenter Emma Griffiths.

After forming a strong bond with Gest on British reality TV show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, Willis insists the pair are such close friends, he wants Gest by his side during his nuptials.

Busted In Court Over Song Royalty

Defunct British boy band Busted are facing a $19 million royalty battle with former members who claim to have written three of the pop punk outfit's key singles. Ex-Busted bandmates Ki Fitzgerald and Owen Doyle claim to have scribed the songs What I Go To School For, Sleeping With The Light On and Year 3000 which all gained top three status in the UK charts.

The disgruntled pair are bringing ex-Busted counterparts Matt Willis, James Bourne, and manager Richard Rashman to court in the case which is set to begin in February.
