With his debut solo album Elect the Dead, System of a Down front man Serj Tankian delivers a record that's certain to satisfy old fans and win plenty of new ones.

Funk icon Bootsy Collins has formed a new group, Science Fiction, with former Guns N' Roses guitarist Buckethead and the rock group's drummer Brain. Both rockers previously played with Bootsy in Praxis. The new group will be fronted by producer/guitarist Greg Hampton.

Virtuoso songwriter, frontman, bassist, and visual alchemist Les Claypool will release the DVD "5 Gallons Of Diesel" -- a comprehensive overview of Claypool's solo projects and collaborations including over 3.5 hours of live performances and video footage -- November 15th on his own Prawn Song Records.
