British Sea Power is an indie rock band from England, whose sound incorporates influences from The Cure, and Joy Division, to the Pixies and Arcade Fire. The band consists of Yan (Scott Wilkinson) on vocals and guitar; Martin Noble on guitar; Neil Hamilton Wilkinson on bass; Wood on drums; Phil Sumner on keyboards; and Abi Fry on viola. Wilkinson and Hamilton are brothers and grew up with Wood in Kendal, all attending the same school. The foursome played in a number of bands together while in school.
