Bring Me the Horizon is a British metalcore band from Sheffield, Yorkshire, who formed in 2004. They are currently signed to Visible Noise Records in the UK, Epitaph Records in the U.S. and to Shock Records in Australia. They acquired their name based on a line taken from the film "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," in which Captain Jack Sparrow shouts "Now... Bring me that horizon."

The band was originally signed to Thirty Days of Night Records and was the first band to be signed to that label. They released their debut album "Count Your Blessings" in October 2006 in the U.K. and in August 2007 in the U.S.

In September 2008 they released their second album "Suicide Season" which was recorded in Sweden with producer Fredrik Nordstrom. The album entered the U.K. Chart at #47, the Australian ARIA Albums Chart at #28 and the Billboard 200 Albums chart at #107. JJ Peters of Deez Nuts contributed vocals on "Football Season Is Over" and Sam Carter of the Architects provided vocals on "The Sadness Will Never End."

In 2010 they released, “There Is a Hell, Believe Me, I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Lets Keep It a Secret.” which went to #13 in the U.K. and #17 in the U.S.
