Another singing star has taken heat from fans for her support of Republican Congressman Ron Paul - Michelle Branch has discovered pop and politics don't mix.
Just hours after Kelly Clarkson unofficially endorsed Paul as the 2012 Republican presidential candidate in a tweet on Wednesday night, Branch followed suit.

Singer/songwriter Jessica Harp has wed violinist Jason Mowery just days after The Wreckers bandmate Michelle Branch announced the duo was no more. The couple wed at an art gallery in Franklin, Tennessee on Monday.
Mowery was also a session member of The Wreckers.

The Wreckers Split
Country duo The Wreckers have split. The two-piece, ex-pop star Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp, formed the band in 2005, but have now decided to concentrate their musical efforts elsewhere.
Both are currently recording solo albums.
Branch says, "It was a lot of fun. But Jessica never got to do a solo record. For now, it's gone for good."

A man accused of stalking Michelle Branch was arrested at the singer/songwriter's Wisconsin concert on Monday night - after she spotted him in the audience. Michelle Branch and singing partner Jessica Harp decided to name their new group The Wreckers after inadvertently dating married men. Both had been involved in past relationships with sleazy men and thought it would make a great name for their new duo.
