Alexander Ridha was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1982 and is better known by his stage name Boys Noize. Ridha is an electronic music producer, DJ, and runs his own record label of the same name, Boysnoize Records, which he established in 2005. Ridha’s sound pulls on influences from hip-hop, disco, and electro house sounds.

Ridha has worked with artists such as Snoop Dogg, The Chemical Brothers, Depeche Mode, Kelis, Kano, The Black Eyed Peas and the band BIGBANG. Ridha built a name for himself in the underground electronic music scene as a DJ, and got his start supporting Felix Da Housecat and DJ Hell under the alias of Kid Alex.

Ridha’s debut album, “Oi Oi Oi,” arrived in 2007 on his label, followed by “Power” in 2009. 2010 saw Ridha collaborate with Chilly Gonzales on the album, “Ivory Tower,” which he produced and co-wrote. That same year saw the launch of Ridha’s sub-label, BNR TRAX.

2012 marked the release of Ridha’s third album, “Out Of Black,” which featured a collaboration with Snoop Dogg. Ridha formed a side project with Skrillex that same year called Dog Blood.
