Andrea Bocelli has married his long-term partner Veronica Berti.
The Italian opera singer - who was blinded at the age of 12 - tied the knot with Veronica before friends and family in an intimate wedding ceremony at the Sanctuary of Montenero in Livorno, Italy, last Friday (03.21.14).
Bocelli had been in a relationship with Veronica for 12 years and it's thought they chose the date to coincide with the birthday of their two-year-old daughter Virginia.

Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli married his long-term girlfriend Veronica Berti on Friday.

The classical superstar and his partner tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Tuscany, Italy surrounded by close friends and members of their families.

The revelation follows speculation the couple was to announce their engagement. The wedding day was extra special for the couple as it also marked their daughter Virginia's second birthday. The youngster was born on 21 March, 2012.

Bocelli was previously married to Enrica Cenzatti, the mother of his two teenage sons.

Rockers Vampire Weekend have recorded an odd cover of Andrea Bocelli's romantic tune Time To Say Goodbye (Con Te Partiro) for a new Valentine's Day compilation.

Bosses at Coffee giants Starbucks asked a number of artists to revamp their favourite love songs for the album, titled Sweetheart 2014.

The compilation also features My Morning Jacket's Jim James' version of Bob Marley's Turn Your Lights Down Low, Ben Harper's cover of Mazzy Star's Fade Into You and Beck's take on John Lennon's Love.

Opera superstar Andrea Bocelli has set a new record by becoming the first artist in history to perform at the Big Apple's Barclays Center twice.

The Italian tenor first played at the huge arena in Brooklyn, New York last year (12), and now he's set to return - setting a record as he goes.

The blind Italian tenor's fiancée and manager, Veronica Berti, gave birth to the couple's first child on Wednesday.

The new arrival, Bocelli's first daughter, is named Virginia, according to Life & Style magazine.

Blind opera star Andrea Bocelli and rocker Bryan Adams are to team up to close the upcoming World Cup in South Africa.

The Italian tenor and the Canadian will perform at Celebrate Africa, the Grand Finale spectacular in Johannesburg on July 9, two days before the World Cup final takes place.
