Arguably the week’s most notable albums come by way of Slipknot, Little Big Town, and T.I., not to mention Logic’s highly anticipated debut. Opera star Andrea Bocelli has become a dad to a baby girl.

The blind Italian tenor's fiancée and manager, Veronica Berti, gave birth to the couple's first child on Wednesday.

The new arrival, Bocelli's first daughter, is named Virginia, according to Life & Style magazine.

The singer has two teenage sons, Amos and Matteo, with his ex-wife Enrica Cenzatti.

Opera star Andrea Bocelli is set to become a father for the third time.

The blind Italian tenor's fiancee, Veronica Berti, is expecting the couple's first child together - a baby girl.

Bocelli revealed the sex of his unborn child at a dinner in Los Angeles last week, when he launched his new anti-poverty charity, the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, according to the Daily Variety.

The singer has two teenage sons, Amos and Matteo, from his marriage to Enrica Cenzatti.

Opera star Andrea Bocelli serenaded ferry passengers with an impromptu performance last week as he rode the waves around Manhattan during a photoshoot.

The blind tenor joined locals on an East River boat on Thursday as he posed for promotional shots in front of the world-famous Manhattan skyline.

And he decided to treat fellow passengers to a little preview of his upcoming concert in the city by belting out a series of songs and playing the flute while onboard, according to the New York Post.

The singer opened the show by performing a medley of her hits and was later named the Legend for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts at the star-studded event in Monaco. Lopez, who stepped away from the spotlight in 2008 after the birth of her twins, told the crowd the award was meaningful but is "just the beginning."

Blind opera star Andrea Bocelli and rocker Bryan Adams are to team up to close the upcoming World Cup in South Africa.

The Italian tenor and the Canadian will perform at Celebrate Africa, the Grand Finale spectacular in Johannesburg on July 9, two days before the World Cup final takes place.

South African soprano Pretty Yende will join the two stars onstage.
