Idiot Pilot Drops Second Album Titled 'Wolves'

Idiot Pilot, atmospheric rock duo from Bellingham, WA, released their second album for Reprise Records, titled Wolves, on February 12.

The album (which was released digitally October 2, 2007 via online retailers) is currently #49 on CMJ's Top 200 chart and was named Top 10 Most Added its first week out.

Rock supergroup Transplants have reportedly split, six months after they cancelled their last tour. Rumors have been circulating since last summer, when all promotional work on the group's second album Haunted Cities (click for review) ground to a halt.

Frontman Rob Aston appeared to confirm the split in a recent interview. For fans of Fenix TX who wished for reconciliation after the band's sudden break-up in 2002, the dream will become reality on November 8 when the highly anticipated Purple Reign In Blood - Live album (with enhanced CD featuring a live video of "Katie W") will be released.
