Ozzy Osbourne has plans for a low-key New Year's Eve celebration after once drinking so much he proposed to a stripper - in front of his wife.

The former Black Sabbath frontman was partying at a club in Tokyo, Japan when he invited a dancer back to his hotel room and suggested they marry.

However the star's drunken antics landed him in hot water with his wife Sharon, who watched the whole thing unravel.

The original members of Black Sabbath refused to break off from recording their new album to celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday and worked through the holiday, according to Ozzy Osbourne's daughter Kelly.

Osbourne, Bill Ward, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler announced earlier this month they are reuniting for a 2012 tour and a new record.

They've been busy working on their material, and the rockers spent their Thanksgiving in the studio.

The star will host new SiriusXM program Ozzy's Boneyard when it launches later this year.

The original members of Black Sabbath have confirmed they're heading back into the studio to record an album of new material with top producer Rick Rubin.

Ozzy Osbourne, Bill Ward, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler reunited for a press conference at the Whiskey A-Go-Go in Los Angeles on Friday morning - the 41st anniversary of their first concert at the fabled venue - to announce big plans for 2012.

Former Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr died Tuesday in Salt Lake City, Utah, has confirmed. He was 44 years old.

According to a spokesman for the Salt Lake City police department, police received a call of a possible death at 1:42 p.m. local time. When police arrived at the location of the call, they confirmed Starr was deceased. His cause of death will be determined following an autopsy.
